We Have Hit Critical Mass...

So when building an idea, you decide, oh I am going to build X. I am going to add features Y and Z. And that's where your initial concept should stop. Get it to an alpha or beta build and out in someone else's hands for feedback.

Lesson learned.

AI is so encouraging when you hit a string of successes that you keep wanting to continue and move to the next stage. Add in a little perfectionist neurosis and we are doomed.

So Kronos World Forge...

My goal was to build a story assistant that does one specific thing I have found nowhere else. I did a huge amount of competitor research, looking to find this specific ask, and no one does it. It's wanted. I found a lot of evidence of that, but not one company delivers it. So why not me?

Because it was hard. A monstrous lift. It took training an embeddings model myself. But I did it. Team of 1 + LLM only over here.

And that's where I should have released a beta and taken a break. But the moment I hit 90% accuracy on the embeddings and it held across blind tests, that excitement is hard to turn away from.

Insert weeks of focused coding later. The design shifted to adapt more to my future goals for Mobius Hub as a platform. I looked at monetization models that make sense, what value would a customer not only want but feel they are gaining more than they are paying for? This kept my mind spinning, but I also kept adding to the design as it spun. And before I knew it, what was a single purpose driven app, the likes of Obsidian or Novelcrafter, had evolved into a full AI harness. Not just for writing stories, but for delivering on a lot of the larger Mobius Hub initiatives. My designs for the MCP layer now made sense as an assistant's toolkit in the harness, instead of a full blown MCP. The designs for Enpoint Insider now just make sense as a plugin for the harness. A single pane of glass LifeOS harness.

So this blog post is really to announce the redesign of what's coming and what the Mobius Hub roadmap now looks like.
